Heating with wood is active environment protection

It's a regenerative biomass. A tree absorbs
carbon dioxide – CO2 – from the air and
converts it into O2 – oxygen.
When the wood rots or is burn it releases
the stored carbon dioxide. The ashes contain
a lot of valuable minerals.
In Germany up to 60 million cubic meters of
timber mature annually but only 40 million
is used.
That's why the Bundesministerium für
Umwelt und Naturschutz (Federal Ministry
for the Environment, Nature Conservation
and Nuclear Safety) recommends wood as
a fuel.

As you can see from the table heating with wood is both economical and environment friendly.
1,000 kg of timber emits 18.1 kg of carbon
and 66.4 kg of CO2.
229 kg of heating oil emits far more - 279.2 kg
of carbon and 1,023 kg CO2.
With the bio fuel wood you heat in an eco-
nomical and environment friendly way and
are independent of oil and gas.
