TorsionsSpaltkeil

The steel hard all-rounder

The hexagonal shape enables the wedge to split even the toughest wood thanks to torsional forces.

Little force - great effect.

The hexagonal shape splits even the toughest wood.

Steel wedges are forbidden in
forestry. They distort when hit with
a sledgehammer (see illustration 1).
Splintering may results, causing
severe injury. The Torsion splitting
wedge has a hammer insert of
special plastic in the wedge. This
is replaceable. The surface of the
TorsionsSplitting wedge is ground
flat so that the hammer insert can
be inset straight too. This minimises the risk of damage to it and of the Torsion splitting wedge being driven crooked. The Torsion splitting wedge is also used by the Powersplitter, which is patented in Europe and has won international awards.

Deformed steel wedge: splintering risk.
Difference in splitting effect between normal and TorsionsSpaltkeil wedges.
The TorsionsSpalt-
keil wedge works even on the toughest wood.
